Welcome Back, Botwin’s

Movies and TV haven’t been doing a lot for me since March. (TV for me is the dvd’s I get in the mail. I do not have cable. Or any reception. And am okay with that.) I am so relieved that the drought is over.

Weeds, Season 4: Yes, I know season 5 just started. The premise of the 4th season of Weeds didn’t do much for me. Seasons 1 and 2 were great, 3 was entertaining, 4 sounded kind of out there. Still, 4 made it’s way into my queue. Wow, I’m glad. It IS out there, but the show is still funny, dark, and perfect.

I’m intriqued by True Blood. We’ll see …

Frozen River was fantastic. In fact, as the credits rolled, I wished I had thought to invite over friends to watch it with me. Great discussion would have ensued.
